During his ascent, the Sherpa people of Khumbu region helped them a lotand Sir Edmund Hillary was very grateful for the help he received from these people. Sir Edmund wanted to give something back to the community and people who helped him during his ascend, when he asked about that a local people name Urgen Sherpa said " BurahSaheb our child have eyes but they cannot see". This statement touched Sir Ed. and gave inspiration to establish a school for the people of this community. He went back to New Zealand and started to raise fund to establish this school. In this process The Indian Aluminium Company donated a prefabricated structure and The International Committee of the Red Cross Society flew the parts to the expedition airship at Mingbo, near Mt.
